How Airbnb fees work
Host-only fee (14% of booking subtotal): the host absorbs the entire service fee. Airbnb displays all rates to guests without additional service charges. Best for shorter stays or when you want to keep listing rates simpler.
Split-fee (3% host + guest service fee): hosts pay just 3% (to cover payment processing) and guests pay a separate 10-12% service fee at checkout. This is the default on most bookings.
